Love Your Cocktails?
For a great night out indulging in delicious cocktails you will want to start at Onyx Dessert Lounge in North Adelaide – this would start the night nicely, as you can also spoil your tastebuds with a dessert. They have paired some sweet treats nicely with their must try cocktails.
Now you’ve done naughty side, you can make your way into town to dance off those calories. Jump in a taxi and head straight to Fumo Blu on Rundle Street for a great variety of Adelaide’s best cocktails – make sure you try the Lemon Meringue shot! Follow Fumo Blu with the bar next door, Distill – they make more of the modern style cocktails, but they also specialise in large ‘fish bowls’, served in a massive martini glass or a punch bowl large enough to share with a group of friends! Botanic Bar on the corner of North and East Terraces provides another good option if you want to stay down this end of town.
Now if you want to skip the dancing/shots and after a more relaxed night out, go straight from Onyx to Royale Nightclub on Gouger Street (to be showered in all things glamorous), or The Loft Oyster and Wine bar and The Collins Bar at the Hilton Hotel – this one will not disappoint!
Finally, for those that consider themselves a bit of a cocktail expert, check out Lotus Lounge – they are renown for their range of cocktails, and are multi-award winning and national finalists. If you love your Espresso Martini’s (like I do!), Udaberri is a must. If you would prefer to start or end your night outside of the CBD, try The Grace Establishment at Norwood – it is also very popular and a great place to enjoy cocktails in the courtyard.
