The soda factory

For years, I’ve wanted to host a football party in my home for our entire family of 25+.

Now that we have finally moved into our new home (yes! the garage is now empty of boxes!) We can now start to celebrate football season at ALL the football parties.

The parties, food, and drinks are my favorite parts of football season.

Football season is basically a series of game-day watch parties.

With the help of Sam’s Club, Coca-Cola (r) and I put together a simple little football party. It’s a teaser: I discovered a time-saving tip that I shared in the first tip.

This game-day soda can be easily assembled every time you host a home game day.

I will save all the football party decor in a place that is easy to access so I can host a party at a moment’s notice.

Let’s look at these five easy tips to create a soda bar for game day!

Choose Your Favorite Drinks

First, I placed an order for all the drinks that I would need for our Game Day Party on the Sam’s Club Website.

I ordered Coca-Cola (r) Mini, Sprite (r), and Coca-Cola Zero Sugar for my guests.

It was my first experience using Sam’s Club’s Club Pickup, and I was very excited to try this time-saving method.

I was able to find everything I wanted on the website. I added all of the items I needed to my shopping cart, selected a time for pickup, and then checked out.

I was able to pick up my items the next day in just a few minutes!

By shopping at Sam’s Club, you get a great deal on beverages for your fall football parties.

With Club Pickup, you can complete your fall football entertainment shopping even quicker. Sam’s Club has all the items you need ready when you order online.

Find a Space & Decorate

The location of my Game Day Soda Bar.

I could not decide whether to have a breakfast bar or a table. I chose the breakfast bar because I was able to hang a cute chalkboard sign for ‘game day soda bars’ on the wall.

There are many free printable footballs available online. I decided to create my own.

I made sure to decorate vertically, not only horizontally.

This was done by using a tall beverage stand that extended up towards the chalkboard.

The drink menu was also placed on the opposite side of the sidebar.

Create a Drink Menu

I enjoy mixing drinks, and I’m sure my friends and family will too.

A fun drink menu is a great way not only to share some of our favorite drink recipes with guests but also to add a little more decor to your soda bar.

Please create your own Coca-Cola(r) flavor combinations or copy mine.

Prepare your toppings

You will be able to know what drinks and toppings you require for your soda bar once you have your drink recipes menu.

I used fresh lemons and limes along with mint leaves, raspberries, cherry stems, and vanilla syrup to make this soda bar.

I put them in separate bowls next to the chilled drinks and cups so people could choose their favorite flavors.

Get Ready to Chill and Set Up Your Drinks

Then, chill your drinks for at least two hours or up to a day in advance. Set them on the drink stand and add ice. This will ensure that the glasses stay cold throughout the party.

I made sure that when I ordered my beverages from Sam’s Club, I also ordered a set of Member’s Mark Heavy Duty Party Cups so we’d have enough for the game day.

One more entertaining tip: Place a permanent marker near the cups so guests can write down their names so they don’t mix their drinks with those of other guests.

This football season, I’m looking forward to more fun game days with my 25+ family members!
