After an amazing 10 years between HQ Complex and Heaven Nighclub, the iconic venue at 1 North Terrace is no more. The venue closed after a massive, sold out final night on 28th January and its premises’ demolition has begun to make way for 2 new apartment buildings. HQ Complex will be relocating to the larger Hindley Street venue – to be renamed simply ‘Q’. Catch it while you can…
Adelaide’s largest and most popular nightclub, HQ often played host to some of the world’s biggest and most popular bands and DJs, including Will Sparks, the Stafford Brothers and Timmy Trumpet. With many different rooms and dance floors to suit any clubber’s musical tastes, plus with plenty of space to dance, you were able to sit down for a drink and meet new people. HQ had been going strong for around a decade as the Adelaide favourite.
