The Alma pulls a very young crowd and is not unusual to see many current and former sports players frequent the pub. Including a popular beer garden with one of the biggest screens you will ever see, The Alma hosts a mix of house DJs on weekends, both during the day then into the night. It gets busiest generally from Friday through to Sunday afternoon, especially when the footy is on, and you can expect line-ups after 10pm on Saturdays.

Generous food and drink specials also make The Alma a sure thing for a casual outing – mainly during their weekly Sunday School sessions (especially over the summer!) with dirt cheap drink specials, making it one of the most attractive venues to Adelaide’s for 18 to 24 year olds. We recommend getting there early on weekends, as the most recent renovations a couple of years back have restricted the number of seats throughout the beer garden, making it hard to sit, relax and eat – especially if you’re in a big group.

This place is great on a Sunday arvo – sexy girls, chilled tunes and great drink specials.

Went to the Alma on Sunday for a meal and a bet, found the venue to be pumping and a great vibe. The staff help you enjoy the day and they have the best beer garden just to chill out and enjoy the weekend.
