Udaberri is located on Leigh Street and has assisted to bring the laneway revival in Adelaide. Recent years has seen Leigh Street a bar hotspot, with Casablabla and Rigonis featured, and Zhivago just around the corner; Adding to this increasingly popular hotspot, Udaberri is a cool place to chill amongst friends and meet new people, while also taking in the sights and sounds of what this small city laneway has to offer. The first thing you’ll notice is the narrow and rustic unfinished style of the interior – a very European feature and very hot right now. Serving tapas (naturally!), beers and an extensive range of wines, it may not be a final destination for dinner or drinks, but is definitely a great place to start. Friday nights are huge, with lines often occurring before 5.30pm – unheard of in Adelaide! Plus, if you’re wondering what the name means, Udaberri in Basque, means ‘the spring season’.

A mirror in the mens toilet would be great.

Cool little bar, wish there were more places in Adelaide like this one.

Does anyone know if they do functions?

Such an awesome place to chill and have a drink, whether it’s a night starter or a big one, the place always has a good vibe, good people and awesome drinks and food. Def one of my friends and mine favourite venues.

This palce always hits the spot, attractive crowd, good music and always seems to have a line up Friday and Saturday nights. It’s narrow and small but that ads to the atmosphere and forces you to meet people and make conversation as you try and squeeze past each other as you get to the bar.

A lively place, the platters kept on coming, the waiters knowledgeable about their drinks & good DJ music
