Zhivago is located on Currie Street near the Leigh Street corner. This basement club decorated with street art on the walls, comfy lounges and a huge bar. It is very unassuming; a place where you can leave your inhibitions at the door – no judgements, no pretensions – just a real mixed crowd looking to have fun… and what you see is what you get! Open Friday through Sunday until late, Zhivago plays your favourite uplifting party tunes, with funk, soul, hip hop, R&B, pop and rock. This place is hot and has become a fave among many. We recommend you get there early to avoid huge lines, especially on Saturday and Sunday nights.
