58 Hindley Street, Adelaide
Open Good Friday from 9pm
A favourite for many under 25’s thanks to their super cheap drinks, the Black Bull are famous for staying open later than most other venues and especially later than the 3am lockouts. Good Friday will be no exception, with doors not closing until 6am! The Black Bull celebrates Easter from Thursday through Sunday, with $3 BB shots, $5 Skittle Bombs, 3-for-$10 Voddies and resident DJs on the decks throughout the night.
125 Hindley Street, Adelaide
Open Good Friday from 8pm
3 rooms – 4 nights – $5 drinks. What more could you want? Dog & Duck has been a staple stop on so many Adelaideans’ nights out for years now, so its no surprise that they’re taking full advantage of the long weekend. We’re intrigued about the talk of their new Chupa Chup shots, so we may even have to stop by ourselves…
23 Gilbert Place, Adelaide
Open Good Friday from 4pm
“Lifting all those religious and non-religious spirits of Adelaide”, as they say. Unlike most of the venues on this list, Hains & Co are hosting a big, fancy party – they’re simply doing what they do best. And they do it best! Serving up the finest selection of premium spirits in Adelaide, if you’re stopping by you need to try one of their amazing, original cocktail creations.
111 Hindley Street, Adelaide
Open Good Friday from 9pm
Arguably Adelaide’s most popular night club right now, Red Square has really been pulling up the slack since HQ closed a couple of months ago. Making Good Friday as big as any of their weekend party nights, they’ve called in DJ Horizon to help get you through the door. Cheap entry before 10pm and cheap drinks all night, this weekend could be a great excuse for you to visit the old stomping ground if it’s been a while.
129 Melbourne Street, North Adelaide
Open Good Friday from 3pm
Even on a day when most venues are closed, the hustle and bustle of Hindley Street can sometimes be too much… That’s why we were so excited when Melbourne Street’s Spot & Co opened late-last year! This small cocktail bar is a little haven of North Adelaide – serving up classic mixes and some original creations, along with delicious pizzas and a selection of great wines, especially their reds. Can you tell that we’re a fan?
