Like your beer? Then The Belgian is the place for you! Focused predominantly on Belgian beers, it provides a large selection of local, imported and unusual beers including some that come with their own wooden stem holder shaped like a small yard glass. The Belgian is type of bar where you can casually chat with friends whilst standing by the bar or sitting at the tables outdoors. For those not used to how beer is served in some parts of Europe, we suggest you observe the great care that is taken when the beers are poured with a freshly rinsed glass and the large amount of head that is then removed with flat object.

If beer’s not for you though, there is plenty to choose from while your friends sip on their brews; a selection of wines, spirits and ciders, plus great meals including cheap weekly specials. The Belgian Beer Cafe is a brilliant spot to take in the sights and sounds of the Fringe Festival and Mad March, with performances and night markets just a stones throw away within the buzzing Ebenezer Place.

fantastic place to sit down, relax, have a feed and taste a unique range of beers. A must for any visitor or a local looking for somewhere a bit different.

A great place to sit either inside or out and catch up with friends over a beer. With a great selection of international beers, there is a beverage to suit even those who typically do not like beer (like myself!). I love coming here in the evening to share beers and Pommes Frites (hot chips) with friends before heading to the nearby Chocolate Bean for dessert!

Great Range of Beers!
