Juroheunghal is one of the very few Korean soju bars in the heart of the city, located on the busy strip of Hindley Street. It is a relatively small bar that opens very late, offering a range of Korean dishes ranging from kimchi pancakes, fried chicken, hotpot stew – all the perfect dishes to be paired with soju . Soju for those who have never tried it before is one of the most popular national drinks of Korea; traditionally made from rice but has changed to alternative starches like wheat, potatoes and tapioca. Other than the standard, soju can range from different flavours such as yuzu, blueberry, peach, pineapple, grapefruit, pomegranate and more. This great tasting soju is very popular among a young demographic and is regularly enjoyed on its own or with food. This underground soju bar can be very busy and loud on the weekends but walk-ins are still highly recommended.
